JB Systems was started in 2001 by Gerald Bauer, at the time a student at Memorial High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Inspired by a trip to NexTech's National Summit of Young Technology Leaders and meeting technology experts such as Nicholas M Donofrio -
V.P. of IBM Corp, Steve Case - CEO of America
Online, and Tim Berners-Lee - founder of HTML and the World Wide Web (CERN Laboratories), Gerald (JB) returned with the mission of
creating the best
website design firm in the area.

Website Design Awards
- JB Systems took home three GD USA Web Design Awards in 2012 for Beautiful Minds, Army Navy Store and Carr Creek Electric.
Print/Graphic Design Awards
- Local printer Documation won Best of Category and Best of Division in the Graphic Excellence Awards for the Eau Claire YMCA capital campaign brochure designed by JB Systems. The award was given by the Great Lakes Graphics Association.
- JB Systems designed a pop-up business card for Sandi Watson of Mosaics Bits in 2012. This business card was printed by Supreme Graphics of Arcadia, WI, who won a Graphic Excellence Award for Best of Category in the business card category.
- JB Systems was a selected winner of the 2011 American Web Design Awards for our work on the Mogie's Pub Website. JB Systems one of only 100 winners that were chosen out of 1,000+ entries from across the country. Way to go team!

- In May, JB Systems was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine listed as one of the
